A sweeping romance set in one of the most unlikely of places and times - a displaced persons camp in Germany just after WWII.
It always feels a little intimidating stepping into a new project. New people, a new story, a new environment and this time also a brand-new “monster camera.” Standing on the edge of something unknown always comes with a mix of excitement, respect, and a healthy dose of nerves. Every story deserves complete attention and everything you can bring to it in terms of experience, energy, and presence.

We’ve now been shooting for nine days, and more than anything, I feel grateful. What an incredible crew. Amazing actors, producers with a clear vision, and a director who creates both trust and inspiration on set. It is a rare joy to be part of a team where everyone is pulling in the same direction to elevate the story.

It has also been incredibly exciting to see how this extremely large digital format , URSA65 from Black Magic, (equivalent to 65mm film), is truly giving us exactly what I had hoped for.
A special thank you to Edoardo Ponti, Lee Nelson, David Buelow, and David Tish for the trust and for bringing me onto this beautiful project. I’m truly looking forward to the journey ahead.
